Open Day & BBQ - Dryburgh Upper, River Tweed 7th April 10:00am to 16:00pm

It’s fantastic news for us to annouce that we’ve finalised our date for the Open day & BBQ at Dryburgh Upper on the River Tweed… This is a stunning location for us holding our event and we’re very grateful to the riparian owner, Ted Innes Ker, for kindly allowing us to hold the event on his beautiful beat. Also to Brian Lile the Ghillie/Boatman whos been extremely helpful in organising everything. We couldn’t do this without your help..

It really is the perfect spot for this!

Firstly, this is a fantastic opportunity for everyone to get the chance to come and try the range of CND Custom Design Rods…. Bring your own rod along if you just want to try NextCast Lines to suit your needs and check out the new, incredible LOC waders.

Demonstrations:

Tommy Aarkvisla, Norway - Current Spey o’ Rama World Champion will be doing casting demos and there to help anyone that wants any casting tips and tuition. A rare opportunity for all to take advange of!

Simen Stromhylen, Norway - One of our cheif designers for CND rods and NextCast Lines will also be doing demos and, at hand to help anyone with casting and general advice on both the rods and lines.

Kevin Collins, Ireland - The double-handed casting instructor, will also be there doing his thing. A super helpful guy who can’t do enough to support people, so please take advantage of it.

LOC Waders: Lars and Chrster… The two geniuses behind LOC Waders will be at the event giving you the chance to try pairs of waders and, discuss how and why they developed a “wader like no other”.

Fly Tying:

Stuart Foxall and Sean Deeney, need no introduction to any avid fly fisher. They will be showing off their tying skills and will be there to offer any help and advice to anyone wishing to improve their tying abilities.

We will be throwing a free barbeque (first come first served) with a range of soft drinks, hopefully enough to feed you all.

DIRECTIONS:

Follow directions for the Dryburgh Abby Hotel, Newtown, St Boswells TD6 0RQ. At the entrance to the Hotel driveway, next to the Gate Lodge, turn right (Sign on fence for Dryburgh Upper) and, follow the track all the way down to the beat. We will also have signs up on the day to help guide you there. more info at Dryburgh Upper - TweedBeats - supporting fishing on the tweed

If anyone has any additional requests or want more information you can email me at info@nordictacklesupplies.co.uk or call me on (+44) 07786033675.

Really looking forward to seeing you all there!
